A Colorado homecoming
One people, gathered with purpose.
The Ewe Association of Colorado welcomed CEANA members and guests from across North America, Europe, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria to Loveland for the 2024 convention.
Hosted under the leadership of then-president Cornelius Ackumey and supported by Colorado’s executives, organizers, and volunteers, the weekend brought together all 20 CEANA member associations.

Grand Durbar
Chiefs and queen mothers appeared in royal regalia as Colorado’s dance group and visiting performers shared Ewe music and movement.
Community Conference
Delegates reflected on CEANA’s work, celebrated scholarships and development projects, and planned the organization’s next chapter.
Fundraising with purpose
The convention raised more than $190,000 toward education and community projects in Eweland.
Fellowship
A picnic, worship service, cultural performances, storytelling, food, and music renewed friendship across generations and borders.
